Co-Founder and Board Chair
Alex is a dental practitioner and scientist with over 30 years of experience in clinical dentistry, academic research and rural service delivery. As Co-Founder and Chair of the Board, she brings deep insight into the biological and systemic drivers of oral disease, and a strong commitment to research translation and community impact. From molecular biology to remote outreach clinics with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Alex’s career reflects the rigour and reach we embed in everything we do.

Co-Founder
Jo is a strategic communications and for purpose sector leader with two decades of experience designing and delivering national campaigns, social impact partnerships and behaviour change strategies. As a Co-Founder of FRED, Jo applies her expertise in preventive health, funding development and community engagement to ensure our work is grounded in equity and designed to make a real-world difference, especially for people who face systemic discrimination.
