Alex is a dental practitioner and scientist with over 30 years of experience in clinical dentistry, academic research and rural service delivery. As Co-Founder and Chair of the Board, she brings deep insight into the biological and systemic drivers of oral disease, and a strong commitment to research translation and community impact.

From molecular biology to remote outreach clinics with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Alex’s career reflects the rigour and reach we embed in everything we do.

Jo is a for-purpose leader with two decades of experience driving national campaigns, social impact partnerships and behaviour change strategies.

As a Co-Founder of FRED, she brings her passion for health equity and communications expertise to help bring our vision to life. Jo also leads a range of strategic and operational projects at FRED.

Co-Founder and Board Director

Ian is a Co-Founder and Board Director at FRED, bringing a wealth of global experience in IT systems, strategic operations and social enterprise.

Ian plays a pivotal role in our governance and digital strategy, with a special focus on innovation that improves access for regional and remote communities.

Board Director

Susie is a Board Director at FRED, and adds extensive expertise in economics and investment strategy, having led multi-billion-dollar portfolios in the finance sector.

She brings a systems-thinking lens to our governance, along with a long-standing commitment to social justice through her not-for-profit work with youth services and finance committees.

Board Director and Company Secretary

Lindsay is a Board Director and Company Secretary at FRED. He is a chartered accountant and experienced financial consultant.

Lindsay’s commercial insight and financial stewardship support the sustainability of our operations and ensure we remain fit for growth.
